The Face Behind It All

Zachariah is a concept I created to use as an outlet for my creative work. It's like a separate identity from me; I use it as a vessel to display my work independently.

Much like the alter ego of celebrities such as Beyoncé's Sasha Fierce, Miley's Hannah or KJ Apa's Mr Fantasy. I didn't want my personal brand of being Domie Malley (that I established from my reality show) to disorient my work with any preconceived notions as to what it would be like.

When I came up with the creative vision of what I wanted my brand to be, it was incredibly clear. I wanted transparency; I wanted it to shine like silver and have the sensation of ice. I wanted my work to have raw emotion, to be distinctive and different.

"I feel as if there is a lack of diversity and originality in the Media; I didn't want to have that problem exist within Zachariah."

I can easily critique anything I watch, but it's much harder to combat that. Therefore, I am constantly striving to be ambitious with the work I create. I am consistently learning so that my work can grow in quality.

Whether I am working in the media space or not, I will always be creating, it's my oxygen.

Domie Malley

I initially studied Media for a GCSE, in which I received an 'A' grade; ever since then, I've been following that sparked passion. I did a Level Three in Media Studies, in which I gained a Distinction. I then studied Media at the University of Kent, in which I received an Upper Class 2:1 in my Bachelor's Degree. I did a year abroad at California State University of Long Beach, to do Film Studies, in which I achieved a GPA of 3.38/4.00. I then went on to achieve a First in my Master's Degree in Film and Television Creative Practice and Production at the University of East Anglia.

After closing the chapter on formal education, I have been developing my relationships within the media space by going to events and connecting with professionals and having mentors to help develop myself professionally. I am continuously writing/creating to expand my creative portfolio via this website.

I'm UK-based, but I'm often travelling around the world, and I spend extended portions of my time in Los Angeles or New York City when possible throughout the year.
