I found that the trailer is for Scream 2022 and VI in particular; I have often revealed too much of the plot. They have both tried to establish misdirects within the trailers for their latest instalments, but unfortunately, it hasn't been sufficient, as one of the big killer reveals was spoiled in a trailer. I decided to re-edit the trailer for Scream VI because the initial trailer revealed too much information about the key sequences within the movie, including major deaths, making it quite easy to piece together the outcome of certain pivotal moments.

 

Within this re-edit, my goal was to misdirect the audience, playing into the narrative of the lead character being Ghostface, as it is a theme prevalent throughout the film. I also changed key sequences by adding in characters who weren't present to misdirect the narrative of what's taking place. My goal was to try and restructure the narrative so that viewers won't be able to piece together any of the sequences or any pivotal plot lines other than the one provided to them of Sam potentially being the killer.
